These Terms of Use govern the use of the Sornix platform, including the Sornix website, Android application, iOS application, QR communication system, and all related services (collectively referred to as the "Service").

By accessing the Service, creating an account, registering a QR code, or using the Sornix mobile applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

Sornix provides a QR-based communication platform that allows individuals to attach a unique QR code to vehicles, personal belongings, equipment, or other objects. When a QR code is scanned, a person can send a message to the registered owner without seeing the owner's phone number or personal contact details.

The Service may also allow the optional sharing of location data at the moment of scanning to help the owner identify the location of the scan.

Sornix does not act as an emergency service provider and should not be relied upon for urgent emergency communication.

2. Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.

By registering an account, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, users must create an account.

Users agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials
  • All activities that occur under their account
  • Updating their information when necessary

4. QR Code Registration

Users may register one or more QR codes through the Sornix platform.

Each QR code is linked to the user's account and allows messages to be delivered when scanned.

Users are responsible for the placement and usage of their QR codes.

QR codes must not be used for illegal, misleading, or harmful purposes.

5. Mobile Applications

Sornix provides mobile applications for Android and iOS devices.

These applications may request access to device features such as:

  • Push notifications
  • Internet connectivity
  • Camera access (for scanning QR codes)
  • Optional location services

Users can manage permissions through their device settings.

6. User Responsibilities

Users agree not to use the Service for:

  • Harassment or abusive communication
  • Fraud or deceptive practices
  • Illegal activities
  • Tracking individuals without consent
  • Spamming or sending malicious messages

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of the account.

7. Service Availability

Sornix aims to provide reliable and continuous service.

However, the Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Account Suspension or Termination

Sornix may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in illegal or harmful behavior
  • Abuse the platform or other users

Users may also delete their account at any time through the application.

9. Intellectual Property

All platform software, technology, designs, logos, and content related to Sornix remain the intellectual property of Sornix.

Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the Service without permission.

10. Changes to the Terms

Sornix may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be published on the platform and become effective upon publication.
